Questions

Before you ask.

Should we use Moodle or a custom platform?

If you need a standard course catalogue, Moodle set up and branded well can be enough, and we do that. If you sell courses, run cohorts or need M-Pesa, your own reports or your own look, a platform built around you is easier to run. Both take SCORM content.

Will it work for learners on mobile data?

Yes. Every screen is built for phones first, pages are light, video adjusts to the connection and notes can be downloaded for offline reading.

Can we sell courses and take M-Pesa?

Yes. Learners pay by M-Pesa STK push or card, in full or in instalments, and the course opens as soon as the payment is confirmed. Receipts go out automatically.

Do you build systems for schools?

Yes. Schools get Pinch for Schools, the school management system on our education page, with admissions, CBE report cards, fees by M-Pesa and a parent portal. Pinch Learn can run alongside it for online lessons and homework.

What does a learning platform cost?

It depends on the modules, the number of learners and what it connects to. After a free scoping call you get a fixed-scope proposal in writing, so you know the price before we start.
